This nightguard is used for muscle pain associated with temporomandibular joint problems or abnormal occlusal. This guard can also be made with lateral and or protrusive rise.This guard can also be used for repositioning by providing a 2 mm thick Protrusive bite registration. All guards can be no gingivae contact or one third palatal coverage.

Impak Nightguard (Soft)
This material is a thermal sensitive resin which becomes flexible and easy to insert when warmed under hot tap water, as it cools it returns to its original shape and maintains a very firm occlusal surface while in the mouth.
Implant Stent
In the edentulous area where markers indicate, a drill through is placed and filled with Gutta Percha . This opaque material shows up easily during x-ray.
Surgical Stent
This Stent is used after gum surgery to help reduce swelling and is made using the same heat cured method as our hard nightguard. This processing method seems to be much less irritating to the tissue than other methods.
Gelb Splint
Our Gelb splint is used to increase vertical dimension. A lingual bar connects the hard acrylic covering the two lower posterior quadrants. Ball clasps are used for retention. We will need a 2mm thick bite registration.

This appliance provides anterior tooth contact only. It is available with or without clasps.
